Dan A Kamys

Dan Kamys has been with the MCAA since 2016 and serves as the association's Director of Content. He oversees media operations that help solidify the MCAA as the national hub of information for the $41 billion masonry industry. He is also involved in the development of restoration and retrofit curriculum, the MCAA's GEORGE AI system, and launching new media initiatives, like the MASONRY STRONG Podcast and MASONRY STRONG Network.

Prior to his work at the MCAA, Dan served as Managing Editor for a private equity-backed food and lifestyle digital media company based in Chicago. From 2024-2025, Dan also served as an Adjunct Professor in the School of Communication at Loyola University Chicago, his alma mater.
